For several months now, we have been working on a roadmap of specific measures to achieve this goal on a scientifically sound basis. A key milestone is the construction of our second PV system at the Linz site, which has been supplying us with self-generated electricity since March 2024. Another major milestone is the replacement of our gas boiler with an air heat pump. In addition to these major measures, we will implement many smaller but no less important measures to save electricity and reduce our material consumption.
These measures affect the entire company and will change our day-to-day work. We can only take this path together. That is why we have now taken the first step together: In the kick-off workshop with all employees, ideas were collected on how green IT can be implemented at BOI and how our everyday office life can be lived in the spirit of a green office life from 2026. We are looking forward to the implementation!
