We’ve reached another major milestone in our climate strategy: Since 2025, both of our offices in Linz and Graz have been powered entirely by renewable energy — not only for electricity, but also for heating and cooling. We have achieved this through the use of photovoltaic systems, the purchase of certified green electricity, and the switch to modern air-source heat pumps.
For us, this is far more than just a technical upgrade. Since 2024, we have been pursuing the goal of consistently reducing our emissions and gradually align our business with a clear path toward net zero.
Following an analysis of last year’s results, we are now publishing an update on our “BOI goes net zero” action plan. The report provides a transparent overview of the progress we’ve made so far, as well as the next steps on our journey toward net zero. For us, transparency and traceability are key components of a credible climate strategy.
Our goal remains the same: to demonstrate that even a small IT company can make an effective contribution to climate protection.
