Use JOIN to link data from different tables, regardless of the database or operating system. You can also compare tables across database boundaries while editing; table versions with the same structure can be compared at any time via the user interface or utilities.

Create efficient configurations for file and data space sizes and define suitable times for certain administrative tasks. This reduces personnel and time requirements. TABEX4 also offers optimized access interfaces for all higher-level programming languages such as Java, C/C++, COBOL and PL/1, etc., as well as for IBM mainframe assemblers and the TABEX proprietary language SSL.
TABEX4 enables checks and help texts
Logical operators and conditional execution allow you to implement complex checks for data using check tables. An exit interface allows you to integrate user-specific program logic. You can create help texts for each table and integrate them into the TABEX4 application. This enables operating department users to perform table maintenance independently without documentation or specialized training.

Define selected tables as version tables: Manage date-based validity of table data, prepare future data changes, access to older table versions, and restore previous versions.
